What Consumer Protection means for you

Protecting Consumers, as individuals and small to medium-sized businesses, is at the forefront of what we do at the RA.

Consumer Protection

The Principles of Consumer Protection General Determination (GD) provides increased protection for consumers and is a legally enforceable framework for sectoral providers in the Electronic Communications and Electricity sectors. The Principles of Consumer Protection was created to protect consumers' interests, promote the delivery of high-quality services and products and encourage best practices across regulated sectors.

As a CONSUMER, or a small to medium-sized business, you have the right to and responsibility for consumer protection.

Service Providers also have rights and responsibilities for consumer protection.
