SubCol Licences
In October 2020 under the Submarine Communications Cables Act, the RA was given authority to regulate the operation of submarine communications operating licences (SubCols). The purpose of the SubCol licence is to connect submarine cables to the networks of any integrated communications operating licence (ICOL) to deliver international connectivity services.
