The deadline to submit a response to the Radiofrequency and 5G Safety public consultation has been extended to 11:59 p.m. on Monday, December 7, 2020.   The RA has empaneled an independent Advisory Panel for this consultation, which includes a consultant Neurologist and Neurophysiologist, Dr. Keith Chiappa.

The Advisory Panel will review information and responses from the public consultation, and offer advice on policy direction prior to the RA making a decision on whether the implementation of 5G is suitable for Bermuda.

Your opinion matters and your input is valuable.  Follow these next steps and have your voice heard:

  1. Read the consultation document;
  2. Review the consultation questions; and
  3. Submit your response by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, December 7.

As part of this consultation, the RA hosted an online information gathering session on Thursday, November 19.  Members of the public presented their responses to the consultation questions and provided feedback to the Advisory Panel on a live platform.

The session was recorded and is available for replay.  You may also refer to the presentation slides from Dr. Paul Heroux, representing BAST and Mr. Frank Clegg from Canadians for Safe Technology.
