The deadline to submit a response for the public consultation into Radiofrequency and 5G Safety has passed and the status of this consultation has been changed from ‘open’ to ‘active’.
Next steps in the consultation process include the Advisory Panel’s thorough review of responses and information received from the initial public consultation. The public will have another opportunity to provide feedback during the preliminary report period in the new year. Once these steps are complete, the Advisory Panel will offer advice on policy direction prior to the RA making a decision on whether the implementation of 5G is suitable for Bermuda.
Additional information on radiofrequencies and 5G is available on this page, including a replay of the November 19th Online Information Gathering Session that was held as part of this consultation.
